If the purpose of our existence is to discover the extent of our patience towards humanity's lame attempt at being "honest", then may this leads you to an adventure of a lifetime. Strictly not recommended for people with low tolerance of anything asinine.
It's at 06:17/07:50 minutes by the way.
Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri to all my wonderful readers, yes, the 5 of you :P
May this Raya brings about forgiveness and change for the good times ahead of us.
And please lay off the mercuns. Kan susah nak blogging sebelah tangan jek?

Nuffnang Ramadhan Sharing Session at the Apartment, Downtown KLCC

I got me an invite. Yeah yeah. Now have to rush from Penang to KL in time for the 6.30 pm registration and get changed into my nicest baju kurung :)
..................................................................
Two weeks later...
So I'm still blaming the gathering for the increase of my waistline. Melantak on the gorgeous apple and pear crumble. Tapi tak habis sebab sebok berborak dengan fellow bloggers there. Well three of them anyway.
So puasa dah nak habis baru nak review the food? Rasa tak perlu kut. Everyone seems to have only good things to say about the food. Though I find the combo of Malay cuisines and Western dishes on the same plate could lead to something odd looking like my plate here:

Dan Abang Muzaffar (calling him abang because he's so adorable that night) wrote quite a detailed description of what happened plus all the links to the bloggers who were there. I saw Leen Ashburn's name on the guest list but she wasn't there. Technically she was the only blog URL I recognized. Different circles of blogger friends I guest. Rasa sangat tak dikenali, I told you my blog tak femes kan?
Tapi yang membuatkan malam itu worth the 6 hours bus ride from Penang would of course be sweet Firdauz, who made me feel less sesat being there. Charming fella, I was taken by surprise when he told me he's 28. Really ar? But dahling you don't look a day over 21!
And meeting RedMummy was a learning experience. It shows if you really put your heart into blogging you can make something out of it. Do be warned her blog is very addictive.
And I have to steal this picture from Thomas "Panjang" Yap, or is it Yap Thomas? Only because don't you think I look cute standing next to Abang Muzz?

Led Zeppelin' My Way Home

Before Photoshop
So I went out for teh tarik with my childhood friend Ina. Then picked up this sesat Penangite (",) from the LRT.
Now the question is what got a Led Zep t-shirt wearing stranger to do with my best friend and my Mr DJ?
*Because.
Since I've been loving you. I've received a whole lotta love. Though sometimes you can be such a heartbreaker, I'd still ramble on.
The song remains the same. All my love. Over the hills and far away. In good times and bad times. I'd still ramble on.
Some days you made me feel dazed and confused. We'd be having communication breakdown. But I'd still ramble on.
Kashmir dreams of stairways to heaven. In the evening, when my heart kept saying, "Babe I'm gonna leave you." I'd still ramble on.
Rock and roll loving.

After Noise and Colour Manipulation, tho I know I suck.
Tapi the stranger's t-shirt memang cun. Mana nak dapat sehelai?
*okay. So I cheated a bit. Do get the Mothership CD.

Ikea Buka Puasa Buffet

Mereka di Ikea sangat bijak. Mereka menyediakan pinggan porselin yang agak berat yang seterusnya menyukarkan aku yang berbadan kecil untuk mengimbangi kedua-dua pinggan yang sarat dengan serat.
Those good old days of working part time waitresing sure come in handy.
Tak nak berlagak bawak 3 plates jek. Gila tamak haloba like that.
And too think I sat opposite LadyNoe aka Perempuan Jomblo aka DekNo to the group and didn't realise it was her.
She look so cute in a purple top and matching manexsesori. Moga selamat ke anak cucu dan cicit.

Inspire Life: OSIM : : Stressbuster
Okay so I was bored and I had to mess around with MS Paint since I don't have Photoshop anymore. MS Paint reminded me of the good old days when you first encounter the Microsoft platform and you get all excited playing around with MS Paint, the bucket paint splashed here and there. That is until Uni days comes along and the IT lecturer introduced the magical wonders of color balancing in Photoshop.
Anyway, the ad is about this thingamagic:
I wonder how much it cost. And I also wonder if I can find other usages for the Stressbuster. And who came up with the name? I want his/her job.
Stressbustering my way into clearing out the kink up my hairline.
And then they asked me a few questions to gauge my stress level:
...and they came up with MODERATE. Moi? A moderate stressed out person?
So to spice things up I came up with 4 things a person can do to lower the stress level. Do note I'm not a doctor, this is coming from a moderately stressed young woman's viewpoint.
a) Stress can be relieved through sweaterzising your way into happy hormones. You could go jogging or beriadah di taman bunga bersama kekasih tercinta tapi berhati2 nanti masuk majalah Mestika. Any strenuous exercise that would increase your heart rate and burn them fats into oblivion. It's all about releasing them endorphins hormones to perk up your senses.
b) Think happy thoughts. Read corny jokes online. Follow an internet kitty around the blogsphere. Smile to utilize those forgotten face muscle.
c) Crying is a definite stress reliever. Some girls find that if they're too stressed out they ended up crying their eyes out. A few tissue boxes afterwards they'd feel all lightheaded, the sadness or anger or whatever that triggered the waterworks gone.
d) This is for those decided they don't want to feel stressed out at all. Whose motto in life is, "Being dirty is the lowest form of human existence." Who refuses to allow emotions to take control of their lives. They could play numb. Yes numb. Buat dunno jek semua tu. Buat bodoh jek. Nanti masalah tu akan hilang dengan sendiri. Yeah sure it will. Yups. Uh huh.
P/s This is not a sponsored advertorial. Unless you wanna click on the ad banners and contribute to my blog money making scheme. No pressure.
P/p/s Do come by the ULAM blog relay project and contribute ideas or opinions on the chatbox at the sidebar. It's getting more intense the storyline. Yupsies.

Claiming My Space

So I share a room with my adorable sister Ana and I decided to lay claim on this desk so I could set up my laptop and all.
But look at it. There so much stuff on it my heart scream out in silent agony.
Just shut your pie hole Jane and get on with the kemas session.
By the way it's the 16th of September today. Didn't someone said some big change gonna happen today?
Oh and being a bad blogger that I am I almost missed out on Magenta's scoop of the week. If given the choice between marjerin or peanut butter I would definately choose the latter because I love the way it stick to the roof of my mouth and sometimes when I'm in the mood I'd leave it hanging there and slowly suck on it, the creamy flavour dripping down my throat. Yumm.
